There are several aspects that distinguish Northern Horizon Inspections from others.   •  All Home Inspectors must be licensed through Consumer protection BC

  • Look for certifications from recognized organizations, such as the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) or Canadian Association of home & property inspectors. https://www.cahpi.ca/en/
  • Northern Horizon is a national certificate holder with Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI)


  • It’s best to schedule an inspection after your offer is accepted but before closing, to ensure any issues are addressed in advance. 


  • Yes, we regularly assist clients who are relocating or investing from outside the region. 


  • A home inspection can reveal issues with the property that may not be apparent during a casual viewing. This information can be used to discuss and plan repairs needed or to avoid purchasing a property with potentially unknown costly repairs.


  • The length of a building inspection can vary depending on the size and complexity of the property. Generally, inspections take between 2-4 hours.


  • We are happy to answer follow-up questions and clarify findings after the inspection report is delivered.  We are happy to be a source of info years after inspection for as long as you own the home as well
