Selecting the right Inspector can be a challenge

•  Look for inspectors who pursue additional training and certifications, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. 
• Ask for a sample of a report to see how findings are explained. 
• Read reviews or ask your real estate professional for referrals.
• Choose an inspector who takes time to explain findings and answer questions.

Inspectors in British Columbia must be licensed by Consumer Protection BC. To obtain a license, inspectors must complete approved training, pass required examinations, be insured, and follow professional standards of practice

While it is not required, we highly recommend that you attend a post inspection walk-through to review high level findings and ask any questions you may have .
